Founding Allman Brother, Butch Trucks, to perform with Great Caesar's Ghost.

Drumming Legend To Play With GCG.

Bridgehampton, NY. April 23rd, 2011 - Founding member and drummer of The Allman Brothers Band will perform with the jam band Great Caesar's Ghost on August 1st, 2011 at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY. Guild Hall is a 360 seat theater set in the heart of New York's Hamptons. Tickets, which go on sale in the following weeks, are expected to move quickly.

For 40 years, Butch Trucks has helped to propel the intricate rhythms behind The Allman Brothers Band. Butch has been there with fellow drummers Jai Jaimoe and Marc Quinones to seemingly lift the Brothers' fans off their feet. That otherworldly zone of rhythm and harmony and true-as-blue blues-rock has made The Allman Brothers Band the greatest live outfit in the history of rock 'n' roll.

Butch will join Great Caesar's Ghost for an evening of classic jamming.

Original GCG Guitarists Reunite for Butch Trucks Gig

Original Great Caesar's Ghost guitarists, Ray Penney, Bosco Michne, and Larry Schmid will play together again as they take the stage with ABB drummer Butch Trucks. Rounding out the line up will be original members Ed DiCapua on drums, Larry Hunter on Bass, Keith Hill on Hammond and Keys, and Mario Cruz on Sax and Flute.
